see, watch, look, read 的用法說明 |
see, watch, look, read都有看的意思，但仍有區分：
see：是指「無意」或「有意」的「看」；若是指「無意地看」，不可用進行式。
例： I can see the bus coming.
I saw a great movie at that theater yesterday evening. （在這裡的 saw = watch）
watch：集中注意力看，且持續了一段時間。
例：
Do you mind if I watch the news?
The boy likes watching TV after dinner.
注意：「看電影」也可以寫成 go to the movies。
「看電影」可用 see 或 watch，但「看電視」就只能用watch。但若是指看電視上的影片，則又可以用 see。
例：
I usually watch TV in my free time.
I usually watch/see movies on TV in my free time.
look at：把視線轉向目標看。(可用進行式)
例： Everyone looks at the cat. She has different colors on her body.
read: 讀、看（書、信、報章、雜誌）
例： I can't read English newspapers. |
