介詞+時間(二) for, since, during

本單元診斷範圍為「介詞 (for, since, during)+時間」的正確使用。本測驗主體部分分為二部分，第一部分為單題式測驗，測驗學生是否了解介詞 (for, since, during)+時間在簡單句子中的使用；第二部分為綜合式測驗，以測驗學生是否能整合應用於實際情境中。本單元後，均附有說明檔──「試題解析」，按相關連結後，即可了解正確用法。若有其它問題，請按每頁所附 e-mail 信箱連絡。

第一部分：請根據上、下文意，填入介詞 for, since, during，以完成句子。

1. Jane has learned about music 　　　　　 1980.

4. Lisa went to the beach for holidays 　　　　　 this summer.

第二部分：綜合式練習。請依上下文，填入介詞 for, since, during 完成短文。
Nana has learned English （1） 5 years. She usually studies English （2） two hours every day. She watches English news （3） the night. She even practices speaking English with friends （4） the breaks. She likes English very much, and she has been reading English novels （5） then.

「時間介詞」的用法說明 (二) for, since, during

for + 一段時間：表示某一動作或狀態已持續一段時間 (時態由上下文決定)

例：

1. Mary 已經看了三個鐘頭的電視了。
Mary has watched TV for three hours.
2. Mary 昨天看了三個鐘頭的電視了。
Mary watched TV for three hours yesterday.
3. Mary 到四點的時候，就看了三個鐘頭的電視。
Mary will have watched TV for three hours at four o'clock.

since + 過去的一個時間點：表示自從...至今

例：

He has lived here since 1990.

(註：He has lived here since he was a child. 中的 since 是「連接詞」，因 he was a child 是一個子句。)

during + 一段時間：表示在...期間內發生的動作，但不一定自始至終。

例：

He went to Taipei during / in this month.
