活動單元名稱:Book Lesson One Just Like Playing Basketball

教材來源:國民中學英語課程標準教科書第四冊第一課

單元目標:

     1 探討學習英語的態度與方法( Topic Themes

             2 能使用英語提供建議( Functions

             3 能使用動名詞當主語 Structures

             4 會使用情態助動詞 have to 表示必要性

教學準備過程:

使教學趣味性,並以圖片呈現相關情境,來幫助學生瞭解語 意。

活動進行過程:

() 教生詞時可盡量利用實例及學生的生活經驗,

例如教easy,dificult, 可在黑板上寫兩題數學題,

第一題簡單 3+2 = ,第二題困難 1234×5678=?),

然後進行下列對話:

T:( Points to the first question This is easy.

S: Points to the second question

       This is not  easy. It's  difficult.

繼續在黑板上寫其他數學題目,讓學生說

It's easy.      It's difficult.

() 教師展示幾張自製的考卷,上面有名字 (如 Tom, Bill, Susan, Mary 等,避免用班上同學的名字,尤其是成績較差者 )及成績 (如100,90,65,49等),邊說 Tom got 100. He did very well on the test..等的句子。接下來可讓學生練習看著教師展示的試卷說,亦可問學生 Do you often do well on English tests? 的問題,學生回答之後,可再問 Do you practice English every day? How often do you practice English? How much time do you spend studying English every day? 讓學生體會熟能生巧的道理。

() 遊戲:

請兩個學生一組上台猜〝比手劃腳〞的遊戲。一個學生比時間,再比動作,另一學生猜他前一天晚上花了多少時間做某事。

() 發給每個學生一份問卷調查(有關學習英語的態度及方法)之後,統計出三大最常用及最不常用的方法。

() 讓學生分組在黑板上寫出他們常做的事,如 play basketball, roller-skate, listen to music, watch ball games 等,教師指出其中一項,學生舉手說出對該事的看法。例如:

Playing basketball is fun.

Roller-skating is easy.

Listening to music is fun.

可採比賽方式進行此活動。

 

   () 教師提出問題

  TWhat do you have to do every day?

  學生舉手搶答。

  S1I have to study every day.

  S2I have to take a bath every day.

  S3I have to do homework every day.
